Seeing the Same Reality Through Different Eyes

Sometimes, the most valuable MBA lessons don't come from textbooks. One of our Full-Time MBA Alumni shared this memory:

«I remember sitting in class during a discussion about Starbucks and realizing that my classmates and I saw the same company in completely different ways simply because we came from different cultures.

It wasn't really about Starbucks: it was about seeing the world through perspectives I had never considered before. Those conversations continued after class, over aperitivos, dinners, weekend trips, and countless shared experiences.

I came for an MBA, but I left with a global network of friends, new perspectives, and experiences I simply couldn't have gained in an American classroom.»

Vedere la stessa realtà con occhi diversi

A volte, le lezioni più preziose di un MBA non arrivano dai libri di testo. Sydney, una delle nostre Alumni del Full-Time MBA, ha condiviso con noi questo ricordo:

«Ricordo che durante una lezione stavamo discutendo del caso Starbucks e mi sono resa conto che io e i miei compagni vedevamo la stessa azienda in modi completamente diversi, semplicemente perché provenivamo da culture differenti.

In realtà, non si trattava di Starbucks, ma della possibilità di osservare il mondo attraverso prospettive che non avevo mai considerato prima. Quelle conversazioni continuavano anche dopo le lezioni, durante gli aperitivi, le cene, i viaggi nel fine settimana e le innumerevoli esperienze vissute insieme.

Ero arrivata per frequentare un MBA, ma ne sono uscita con una rete globale di amici, nuove prospettive ed esperienze che non avrei potuto vivere in un’aula americana.»
