The semester program offers rigorous, high-quality courses taught in English. The classes offered are similar from semester to semester, but change occasionally. Students should check the specific offerings of the semester they are considering. CIMBA offers a full range of business and economics core courses and electives, as well as required and elective courses in journalism and communication studies. Italian language classes are offered, and students are encouraged to enhance their language skills. Students may take up to 18 credits of coursework and are encouraged to take at least one class outside of their professional area.
The professors usually come from Consortium-member universities and are recognized as outstanding education professionals with experience and excellence in teaching and research. Classes have approximately 20 students, and emphasize the international learning environment with a focus on current international events and trends. Students must be full-time (enrolled in at least 12 hours) but should plan to take the number of credits they are accustomed to taking at their home institution. The classes are designed to allow students to remain on track for graduation.
