Throughout the year, CIMBA receives requests from our member universities to send representatives to visit the Italy campuses. We are happy to accommodate guests when we are able, but we ask that you are thoughtful and flexible when picking your visit time. There are certain times of the year that are better for visitors. To understand CIMBA fully, it is important to see the campus, students and professors in action. Every two years, we host a conference which is a great time for visitors to see the campuses. If attending the conference is not possible, it is best to visit while classes are in session. To arrange to visit CIMBA, please contact Cassie Cooper, the Director of Outreach and Program Development; she will be happy to assist you. It is important that our staff has time to give appropriate attention to visitors, so we have listed some times below that we ask people to avoid.
- December 15 – January 15: The end of the semester and the holidays make this a very busy time. CIMBA also closes for the holidays.
- End of July – August: During this period, there are no students on campus.
- During various periods in August, the staff in Italy is on vacation as is most of the rest of Italy.
- The first week of any program; this is a very busy time.
