About Cimba > Staff > Tommy Thompson |
Tommy Thompson joined the CIMBA staff in August 2008 as a Campus Life Coordinator while also pursuing his MBA through CIMBA. As an undergraduate, Tommy was able to participate in the CIMBA undergraduate program during the Fall of 2005 where he served as the IT Intern, and then again in the Summer of 2006 when he returned for summer classes.
Tommy is originally from Plano, Texas and graduated from the University of Texas at San Antonio with degrees in both International Business Management and Information Systems. Tommy spent his last year at UTSA as the Student Body President and the Chairman of the University of Texas System Student Advisory Council. During his tenure at UTSA, Tommy was instrumental in the expansion of the school’s University Center and was part of a campuswide push that eventually led to the foundation of UTSA’s first football team. He considers himself very fortunate of the opportunities that UTSA provided him, and is an active member in the University’s alumni association.
Tommy is incredibly excited to be back in Italy working with people who have left such a profound effect on his life. A firm believer in the growth that happens while abroad, he cannot wait to be a part of that change in others’ lives. |
