Cassie Cooper currently serves as the Director of Outreach and Program Development for CIMBA at the University of Kansas. Cassie graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Chemistry from Fairleigh Dickinson University in Teaneck, NJ. During her four years at FDU, Cassie was actively involved in student life and developed a love for working with students. After moving in 1997 to Lawrence, KS, Cassie realized her career goals centered on working in a university setting. She joined the Consortium staff in September 1998 as a program coordinator. Cassie was the first Consortium employee at KU. Shortly after Cassie joined the staff, KU was designated as the degree-granting institution and coordinator for the Consortium and all of its programs. From 2000 to 2004, she served as the Associate Director for the office in Kansas. In December 2004, Cassie moved to San Antonio and currently telecommutes with both the US and Italy offices as well as member schools around the country. Since 1998, Cassie has been essential in the development of new programs, including the semester abroad offerings for undergraduate students. Currently, she is primarily responsible for program development, maintaining relationships with member universities and overseeing the recruitment of both students and faculty. |
